The FIA World Touring Car Championship faces its third year with two main goals : consolidating his  position alongside the two only other world championships -F1 and WRC-  and keep and growing in terms of participation, audiences, media coverage and popularity.
Last year, 53 drivers from 20 differents countries where at the wheel of cars built by eight manufacturers.
The average participation have been about 28,4 cars by event, that's contribued to make the FIA WTCC the international championship with the largest and most varied grids.
In Pau, the next 1, 2 and 3 of June we will set up the fourth inning of the WTCC, on his urban racetrack, the only town circuit still passable in France
BMW, Alfa Romeo, Seat, Corvette...... car's of anybody in praticed racer's hands from the four corners of the earth. An event's time with pledge of superb and exiting races.

INTERNATIONAL FORMULA MASTERS

The International Masters substitute now Formula 3000. This new discipline appear this year on the world's circuits and exclusively as part of WTCC. This single-seater car is developed by the N.Technology company,  collaborative with Tatuus, italien corporation.
This new purebred is ratified FIA F3 2008. He's motorized with four cylinders originating 250 HP, with gear lever next the wheel and fit with Yamamoto tyres.
The Heini Mader Racing's corporation care the motor, that's conceived to become crossed - electric and thermal- in 2008. About thirty single-seat cars will give life to Pau's circuit during qualified and two races.

PEUGEOT 207 SPIDER CUP

The Spider 207, introduced in sneak preview event in Paris, is derived from 20Cup car's concept, with a more conformist architecture; four wheels and a mechanic planted on tranversal at the back. This car, animated with a powerful series motor, dependable and reasuring, providing an intense and real joy of piloting, envolve on each season as part of monotype formula.
This one will act in LMS (Le Mans Serie) as in Pau with the WTCC. The Spider 207 is an objet tacking back all the LMP1 and the LMP2 car's attributes, replying to the ACO regulations, notably for the hoops level. The back part is a wink to the seventies Sport prototype car's, with motor unit bonnet in short and unequipped with aileron.
